Practice Philosophy

I care about my patients and want to help them stay active and well. I believe that it is important for me to listen to the patient, and to take the time needed to make the right diagnosis, as well as to ensure that the patient is well educated about their condition and treatment options. This enables them to make informed decisions about their health. I believe that we should work together towards the best possible outcome as a team.

Personal

I grew up in Guyana, but had most of my education in England.  After attending Medical School in Wales, I moved to Pittsburgh for my Residency and Fellowship.  I subsequently worked in Iowa for 4 years before moving to Portland in 2001.  I enjoy running, reading and love spending time with my family and friends.
